We are looking for our first in-house recruiter to lead efforts to scale our team with tremendous talent, end to end. You will be hiring across all functions of the company – from engineering, to customer success, design, etc.

About you
In brief, we are looking for an established ‘Complete Recruiter’ with the following specific qualities:
- You want to work in a fast startup.
- You are excited by working at the intersection of healthcare, data, and AI.
- You have a strong sense of ownership over your work, and have demonstrated the ability to lead others.
- You bring an entrepreneurial mindset, and you don’t need a specific playbook to be successful in your role – you are able to create and own your own systems.
- When someone takes out a task with a target ETA of 3 weeks, you ask yourself “Why can’t this be done in 3 days?”.
- You feel you have a good “taste” for startup talent, developed through previous recruiting experience.
- Bonus: You have an engineering background that allows you to screen technical talent well.
What will you do?
From day one, you’ll quickly ramp up to expert-level domain knowledge in healthcare data, to help you understand the context of what we’re working on, all the projects our team is currently working on, and what we’ll be working on in the future.
Every day, you’ll be working to move the needle on all things related to ensuring we’re working with the best talent possible, while reaching aggressive growth goals. In general, it will look like this:
- Make the world a better place (But in reality).
- Talent brand management: Create and manage our overall recruitment presence – our business website, listings, social media posts, etc.
- sources: Using traditional outreach tools, as well as your own creative approaches, get the best possible talent into our hiring funnel.
- Conducting interviews: Scheduling, running, and organizing multi-stage interviews, including coordinating any necessary travel.
- closing: Writing offer letters and ensuring they are closed.
- On board: Helping get new employees started when they start and making sure they have everything they need to hit the rounds.
- Payroll/hourAs needed, perform a variety of HR and HR-related tasks such as checkout, purchase orders, provisioning of equipment, etc.
- Attend a daily 30-minute stand-in at 7:30 AM PST MON-FRI (our only regular mandatory meeting).
requirements
- You have enough technical knowledge to be able to understand our products, what our team does, and where we fit into the healthcare landscape.
- You have worked with, or can quickly learn how to operate, tools such as: Surfe, GEM, LinkedIn Recruiter, Pave, Levels, Idea, Slack, Zapier, Excel, etc.
- You have excellent communication skills, and ideally some previous consulting experience.
- You are located in San Francisco or the Bay Area (or ready to relocate).
