the UKRI AI Center for PhD Training in responsible treatment for natural languages Created to address the increasing necessity of an ethical basis in artificial intelligence techniques. Since nervous linguistic programming has become more integrated with applications such as personal assistants (Siri and Alexa), chat robots (such as ChatGPT) and obstetric artificial intelligence, the risks have become higher than ever. Ensuring the inclusion of these systems responsible in our daily life requires a deep understanding of their operational mechanisms and societal effects.

PhD students at the center will engage in a multidisciplinary educational experience that includes the technical, social, design and legal fields of artificial intelligence. The curriculum enhances understanding in these diverse areas, with a focus on cooperation and the development of mixed experiences. This is your opportunity to contribute to building artificial intelligence systems that are not only advanced, but also fair, sustainable and sensitive to the complex social fabric in which you work.

Skills fields

During their study, students will train across five areas of skills.

Responsible nervous programming models and models

Students will develop techniques for building and organizing comprehensive and varied data collections, as well as practices that lead to more fair and less biased models.

Neurological Linguistic Programming (NLP) is interpreted for users all over the world

Students will be trained in technologies that enable the final users to examine data and models groups, using the techniques based on nervous linguistic programming to provide interpretations that can be read by humans for data groups and artificial intelligence models.

Design for the partnership between man and nervous linguistic programming

Students will use new human methods to create adaptable partnership systems between human and artificial intelligence (for example, human difference and nerve linguistic programming).

Neurological programming and accountability governance

The deployment of nervous linguistic programming is responsible for understanding the intersection with current laws and governance (intellectual property rights, the general regulations for data protection, equality, publishing rights), and emerging laws and governance (European Union for Artificial Intelligence).

Joint creativity and futures for nervous linguistic programming Students will develop new design methods that enable diverse community members to form technical and design decisions surrounding the future applications of nervous linguistic programming.
