IjNA book audit editor in charge, in consultation with the Ijna editor, by assigning the magazine reviews (contact publishers, books, auditors and arranging access to materials, whether in printing or digital). As a book review editor, you will also receive, edit, edit reviews.

The average CA.3 pages are reviewed in length (1.5 lines divergence). We have existing evidence on how to review a book that can be sent to auditors.

There are currently 6-7 reviews for each version (12-14 per year).
The role requires organizing, paying attention to details, knowing maritime archaeology and related fields as specified in the magazine’s goals and scope, and experience with the editing of magazines. A close connection to the NAS and the marine archeology community in general will be useful.

Expected hours: 8-12 hours per month (2-3 hours a week)

Beginning date: January 1, 2026. A single month transitional period with the current book review editor.

Payment: 2000 pounds annually, in addition to 400 pounds annually.
Delivery date: October 31, 2025
