We are looking to strengthen our kitchen team further, with people who are used to working in a busy environment.
This role is offered on a full time basis with a fantastic work life balance of 36.5 hours per week, working on a shift basis including some evenings and weekends.
You will already be working in a professional kitchen and will have the skills to help train and develop some of our junior team members. Based in our main production kitchen, you will support the operation of the conference and hospitality departments by planning ahead, organizing the team and ensuring flawless service every time.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person who has the drive to improve and provide a creative edge. As a Chef on our team, you will have the enthusiasm and drive to develop your existing skills.
You must demonstrate initiative and self-reliance, but must also be able to contribute and work within a large, successful, fast-paced team.
The Hospitality and Retail departments have a variety of catering outlets and styles across campus, including student catering, conferences, dinners, cafés, bars and restaurants, graduation days and visitor open days.
