Volton Engineering Schools in Arizona State University (ASU) Look for an active person to fill the position of teaching professor (all ranks) in our new integrated engineering school on the Asu West Valley campus in Phoenix, Arizona. Doctorate is required in the field of electrical, mechanical and engineering education or related discipline, preferably industry experience.
In ASU, we are going to transform engineering education with innovative models and methods to make excellent education easier for everyone. As part of this process, we created a new integrated engineering school in 2024, which provides certificates that combine fully content and mentalities with other specialties. We are currently presenting engineering science degrees with concentrations in business and microorganisms and we have programs related to postgraduate studies and additional graduate studies under development.
Job duties include designing new and educational courses in terms of educational and teaching classes in autumn and spring classes. The classroom tasks will be personally on the West Valley campus in ASU, and possibly other engineering programs on the Tempe campus or Unline Under. In addition to teaching the classrooms, the successful candidate is expected to direct students and participate in university service and professional service activities.
A successful candidate for this position will have a clear record of excellence in teaching that includes active and experimental learning, our passion for engineering education participates, and is informed of experience with industry and society, and has experience with both engineering theory and a very educational and cooperative start -up environment.
The appointment is to the assistant teaching professor, assistant or (full teaching professor), a teaching professor, will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and accomplishments. The start date of this position is flexible with the first start date on January 1, 2026.
