Researcher in inequality, social policy and social mobility at Oxford University
About the role
He wants to manage social policy and interfere in appointment three RAS assistants to work on a project related to economic and social inequality in high -income countries. Research assistants will work directly with Professor Zakari Parolin. This is a good opportunity for a doctoral student/DVHil to gain more experience in research and contribute to publications in the field of economic inequality.
The required candidates must contribute to the research in one of the three areas:
(1) Using LLMS and integrating artificial intelligence in inequality research,
(2) Study politics strategies to reduce inequality in high -income countries, and/or
(3) Study of social movement and its relationship to economic inequality. Candidates must determine their demand materials, i.e. the three projects they care more about.
About you
You are working on a doctorate in the field of social sciences (or the field of relevant data science), and it has interest and research in the field of economy and experience in data management and analysis. It will be an accidental experience to work with quantitative data and relevant programs (Stata, R, Python, or the like) useful.
This is a part -time post (12 hours a week / 0.32FTE) for 12 months.
