Research assistant in calculations

Strateclyde University invites A requests Five -month research assistant To support a PSDI project, it aims to create a standard data collection of enthusiastic status properties of semiconductor particles. This work will directly contribute to enhancing open science in mathematical chemistry and material science.

A successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high -level quantum chemical accounts (such as CassCf, NevPT2, …) on high -performance computing systems, formatting data groups in line with fair data standards, and developing repetitive calculations. The role will also include preparing data collections and documents for open publishing, maintaining project warehouses (such as GitHub), and contributing to publishing and publications.

We are looking for graduate candidates (MSC/PHD) in mathematical chemistry, theoretical chemistry, physics, or a related field. The experiment with quantum chemical and high -performance chemical methods is essential, along with the skills of sober sized and strong solution analyzes. It will be evidence of contributions to open science (such as GitHub warehouses or published data sets) feature.
