Research colleague at the University of Southampton
We are looking for a distinct creative researcher with the new Terhartz Tumbers ’development skills. Our project – under the auspices of the Royal Society – in cooperation with a strong research team in South Korea (leads Dr. Ton Tone Kim) and aims to provide Teahertz Topognal states that can be reshaped to apply in the next generation of wireless communications.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Doctorate degree or equivalent qualification (or about to finish it) in physics/optical engineering or another subject related to the study and/or development and/or application of topological optical materials;
- Decare practical knowledge and experience in the field of optical crystals/optical material;
- Strong skills to solve problems, self -stimulation, and the ability to cooperate in multidisciplinary teams;
- A busy record of publishing research through the publications reviewed by the peers and conference shows.
It will be useful, but not necessary, to have a modern experience in one or more of:
- Using nano/nanotechnology and materials manufacturing tools;
- Multi -physics/electromagnetic computer modeling and eignmode analysis of light crystals;
- Large tirtz spectrum measurements or spectral analysis of the nearby scanning.
In this role, it will join a multidisciplinary research group at the Optical Electrons Research Center (Orc), with interests ranging from nanophone, measurement, photographic, and tobiological optical materials.

This is a full -time fixed position on 1street In November or as soon as possible after that, for a preliminary 12 months with the possibility of extension until September 2028.

The research colleague’s title will be applied at successfully completing the doctorate. Before granting the rehabilitation that will receive the title of the first researcher, it will be granted
