Description

The College of Architecture and Environment Building at the University of Toulin (TUSABE) is looking for qualified candidates in the specialty of architecture for multiple positions of professor of practice in architecture. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply.

Our growing architecture program is looking for candidates whose experiences have been integrated into coherent and convincing design methods, with strong qualifications and enthusiasm for teaching basic design studios and basic courses in Bachelor’s and graduate studies. We are particularly interested in the candidates who show excellence in the research based on creative practice and teaching architectural design studios in one or more of the following areas:

  • Mass, media and acting design

  • Energy and circular modeling and carbon removal

  • Tectonic and structural design

Successful candidates will support our educational mission and teach design studios, lectures and courses related to their field of experience. TUSABE faculty offers courses through architecture programs (B.ARCH, BSA, M.ARCH and MSARC) with the opportunity to cooperate with other programs within the school.

The salary and academic rank should be suitable for qualifications and experience. The date of the expected start of this position is July 1, 2026. About the Toleen School of Architecture, the built environment and the University of Tolein

The College of Architecture and Environment Building at the University of Toulin provides global leadership through excellence in design, research and practice in the built environment. The college includes architectural engineering programs for the university stage, postgraduate studies, many other programs related to it and scientific grades paths. Faculty members teach courses and cooperation in proportion to their experiences through school programs including architecture (B.ARCH, BSA, M.ARCH and MSARC, landscape and engineering engineering (MLA-MS RCSE), real estate development (BSRE, MSRE), MSHP, Bades, and Sustainable Amman (BS SurB), social innovation and social business leadership (minor university stage), and climate change: science and practice (sub -stage). Qualifications

Successful candidates must have a final degree in architecture (Master of Architecture) or its equivalent degree, doctorate or doctorate. In architecture or related fields. It is desirable to obtain a professional license in the United States (or its internationally equivalent). Candidates must show efficiency in their field of experience, show a record of distinguished design practices and develop innovative curricula. We seek and welcome candidates’ requests for the widest set of backgrounds, experiences and views.

It is expected that the professors of practice at the Toulin College for Architecture and the Ely -based environment will perform the teaching environment; Work with colleagues of the faculty, the dean and other departments in Toulin to develop the curriculum; Participation in the service through a group of academic committees. It is expected that the candidates for the position of professor of practice will follow a clear agenda for the research based on creative and creative production. Candidates for this position must be ready to teach design studios at the level of university and graduate studies (especially within The basic approach) And courses within their field of experience. The position of professor of practice usually begin with three -year appointments and can be renewed for longer periods after the appropriate review.
