Required qualifications

You have knowledge of collecting, analyzing and processing hydrographic survey data. Experience with SIS, EVA NAVISUITE, Hypack, QINSY, Caris and/or Required Bonument Collection/Program.

Be aware of the hydrographic survey equipment for communication and operation, i.e. GNSS, self -insufficiency, multi -packets, bottom beneficiaries, and Sidecan Sonar Systems.

Experience with system and networks communicating and exploring and repairing errors.

The ability to communicate and work in English.

Attention and preparedness to work abroad. However, the transformation periods may vary based on the project’s needs, however, alternately 4 to 6 weeks are usually expected.

The ability to obtain and preserve all external credentials such as: passport, medical material, STCW, and Mariner’s professional accreditation data.

It has at least 1 to 3 years of experience in hydrographic wiping or other relevant external works.

Pass the background achievement.

It has strong organizational skills and communication.

Other qualifications required

A technical degree in engineering, hydrography, wiping, or other relevant areas.

Experience with geophysical scanning equipment and data (i.e. Sidecan, subrex, and magnetic scale).

AUV experience, especially with large systems like HUGINS.

Rove experience.

SAS (Santelt Sonar) experience.

GIS/CAD experience.

Subsea Lidar and the photo collection.

Overview of the situation

Our growing institution is looking for talented hydrographic surfaces/field technicians to join the external hydrographic and geophysical survey. Ideal candidates will have at least some experience abroad, and in a way that is no less than experience in the level of entry or knowledge in the field of hydrographic survey and is available to start as soon as possible November 1, 2025.

Basic responsibilities

Support the collection of global hydrographic and geophysical data abroad using standard industry programs.

Coordination of surveying with the ship’s crew and beach support.

Make sure that the collection of data meets strict internal specifications.

Maintain comprehensive documentation and scanning records.

The field of hydrographic and geophysical data.

Collection and processing of hydrographic sensor and other data.

Conducting system standards and checks as required.

Hurry information technology and other technical aspects as needed.

Participate in QHSE roles to ensure safe and sustainable work practices.

Provide inputs for reports and proposals in compliance with customer guidelines and our institution.

Provide survey data and progress in project meetings and updates.

Building and strengthening the team’s health and effective communication relationships.

Support ROV and AUV operations as needed.

Be ready to travel up to 6 months a year.

The possibility of additional work on the beach during the transformations if it is interested.
