Derby College Group (DCG) is hiring an emotional and experienced teacher to join our growing academy for vocational education, training and development. This exciting role supports the delivery of primary teachers education programs from level 3 to level 7, which helps to form the next generation of teachers. Opportunity

Teachers will support trainees in developing their knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors through innovative delivery and evaluation. It includes the role of contributing to quality guarantee, enhancing teaching, learning and evaluation strategies to ensure excellent results and progress. Depending on your educational experience and the experience of the last sector, you will provide attractive learning that reflects the current demands for teaching roles in additional education and training.

You will be delivered by:

• Level 3 award in education and training
• A certificate in education
• Graduate Studies in Education (PGCE, after 14)
• Fifth level learning and skills vocational training

About you

You will be a qualified teacher with great experience (meeting UOD requirements for a period of at least five years) in the education and training sector after 14. I am sure to apply educational theory to training, you will have a successful busy record to support students’ achievement. Strong skills between people and time management are essential, as well as mastery of information technology. The experience in remote delivery, lessons, and use of technology improved learning tools will be an advantage.
