Because of the growth, our infrastructure section is looking to add a new member to our team in the role: Emergency Management Coordinator

Providing reports to the emergency services director, this role will apply the accident driving system (ICS) and the principles of accident management and features during the full emergency management course including training and response.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and preserving regional emergency management plan
• Apply the Driving System (ICS) during the full emergency management course
• Training and developing municipal employees in managing the accident driving system to ensure their willingness to respond to regional emergency situations
• Helping the population in the activities of the emergency prepared
• Work directly with other municipalities, regional emergency services, and international government emergency department representatives to ensure that the procedures are comprehensive
• Societies represent when working with local groups, institutions and companies
• Collecting and interpreting large quantities of risk information and expert materials and expressing them in a clear language

requirements:

• He is mastered in the use of accident driving systems (ICS), including at least ICS training
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• The ability to lead activities with confidence in the context of emergency planning and response
• The ability to maintain quiet and effective behavior amid high pressure cases
• Strong communication skills in providing information to individuals and groups of various levels of understanding and distress
• The ability to adapt to dealing with the priorities of change and concentration
• The cooperative nature in training and guiding the municipal team
• Exceptional technical writing skills
• Experience in the emergency management in the province or municipality
• Post -secondary education is one of the assets
