Application instructions

Applicants must submit:

1 cover letter (Mass one page)
2 Research suggestion Description of research interests in the past, present and future (maximum 4 pages including references and numbers, with 11 lines)
3 the biography (With a maximum of 2 pages) and
4 Publishing list ranked (A maximum of two pages; please rank the most important or preferred publication first).

The list of publications should include one summary for each paper that the peers reviewed describing its effect and importance. The cover letter must clarify the names, e -mail addresses and affiliations of the applicant’s rulers, as well as explain any deviations from the application requirements (for example, if the doctorate has been completed more than 5 years ago).

At the center, we appreciate quality on the quantity/size; More/longer not always better. All four components of the application should be combined into one PDF file (a maximum of 10MB)It was saved using the file name “(Lastname) _ (Firststname) _ Gegestromany Fellowship and download it to associated Google models. The center reserves the right to ignore applications that do not follow these announced guidelines.

The progress of women in science is an integral part of the LMU policy. Therefore, women are especially encouraged to apply. German language skills are not required for this position.

Reference messages:

The applicant must also arrange for At least two letters of the recommendation (Pdfs) to be presented by their rulers – Three messages will be perfect, but they are not mandatory. Messages must be sent to Professor Kevin Hing and Live by the rulers to center.geoastronomy@lmu.de (With the topic line: Geological fellowship – a reference message to (the full advanced name)) before the deadline.

The deadline for submitting applications and receiving reference messages is December 15, 2025 (Monday).
