The main duty of a researcher is to conduct original and independent research in their field of study. They are not expected to perform any additional administrative duties, but the trustees must attend the meetings of the college’s board of directors. In some topics, opportunities may be available for research colleagues to contribute to university teaching if they wish. The pensionable pensions for post -PHDs are currently 29,497 pounds (PrephD 26,449), the suspended living cost award.

Research places are presented for free, on the beautiful Wychfield site. Wychfield is located in a suitable place with gardens, gym and sports facilities and is home to a prosperous community of graduate students and resident colleagues. Livestock colleagues are also granted generous dining rights, and may demand research expenses of up to 2000 pounds per year. We warmly encourage research colleagues to participate in the rich academic and social life of the college.

Standards

Fellowship is open to the graduates of any gender, and any university, without any age, but it will usually be granted to the candidates who have completed the doctorate recently or is about to finish. These fellowships are preliminary functions (usually) after a doctorate is suitable for starting an academic profession.

Candidates are warned that they are responsible for verifying their eligibility to take up this position under the rules of immigration in the United Kingdom.

Applications

Trinity Hall runs a joint plan for applications for professional research fellowships early with many other Cambridge colleges, and all the participating colleges will be considered by all participating colleges that offer fellowships in relevant topics. Candidates are advised that competition is likely to be intense with many requests received every year.

Full information related to the offered females, and more details and registration details are available on the joint application scheme website via ‘Progress’ The above button from Friday, October 10.
