Director of School Research Scholarship at Cambridge University
Applications are invited to the role of the Director of School Research in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
This is a new publication dedicated primarily to support research grant management and objectives related to research at Bennett College for Public Policy, with support for other institutions throughout the College of Humanities and Social Sciences as part of a broader and flexible team.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a newly created section that is to become a famous global pioneer in policy and education research. BSPP has ambitious growth plans including the launch of a new M.phil in digital policy alongside the expanded M.phil in public policy, and the development of a new doctorate program. It is led by the opening director, Professor Michael Kenny and Professor Diane Cowell, Professor of Public Policy Bennett.
The School Research Scholarship Director will manage one line in the team, and the School Research Scholarship official will be:
- Providing financial and administrative support and guidance through the full grant for academic, research and administrative employees, to enable effective and effective grant management.
- Establish and trading information on grant opportunities; Work with the employees concerned to support the development of grants, grant grant management, increase income and risk relief, using university systems such as Worktribe, Chris and CUFS.
- Be an excellent parallel with confidence to communicate with a wide range of people and to be an effective team player with a flexible approach.
- It has high -level regulatory skills and setting priorities, with the ability to take the initiative and determine the priorities of a diverse work burden to meet the final dates.
- Provide advice and support training and communication opportunities for other SRGAS inside the school.
The successful applicant will join a team of experienced research grant employees, and they work cooperatively at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
This is an exciting opportunity for the directors of the new and current first line; Although experience in research and the role of the first line management is useful, Requests from individuals with convertible skills are welcomeWhere full training in research and practical grant systems will be provided, when necessary.
This is a full -time role, based at Bennett College for Public Policy, and the School of Humanities and Social Sciences School in 17 miles, with an opportunity to work remotely. The hours and work pattern can be discussed in the interview.
