Power -over view:

We are seeking an organized, very organized financial manager, and the details are directed to oversee our financial operations in Munich. The financing manager will be responsible for financial planning, reports, and compliance, with additional duties in grant management and office management as needed. This role requires a proactive professional that can wear multiple hats and balance strategic supervision with practical implementation to ensure smooth financial and administrative processes.

Responsibility areas:

finance

• Owning all financial operations, including due/due accounts, salary statements, and banking services. Experience across border is one of the assets.
• Building and managing budgets and expectations and planning cash flow
• Providing monthly and annual financial statements and internal/external reports. You will be supported by an accountant.
• Working with external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors to ensure compliance with German accounting standards (HGB), tax regulations (value -added tax and salaries), and internal policies

grant

• Tracking and monitoring the grants of grants, expenses and compliance
• Prepare grant requests and submit reports for financing agencies
• The special relationship between the company and the financing agencies

office

• Software licenses, external sellers and office supplies/equipment
• Support management with office research and preparation
• Supporting human resources such as compensation for expenses
• Make sure the Munich Office runs smoothly (IT technology, facilities, insurance, etc.)

Your experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Master in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Related Domain
• The minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financing and accounting; Video game industry and startup experience is one of the assets
• A strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations
• Experience with grant and compliance requests if you have worked with European or German union programs) and the natural scene of fundraising in Germany
