UFCW 367 represents approximately 8000 members in Pears, Mason, Thurston, Grays Harbour, Lewis and Pacific.

Power -over view:
The ideal communications candidate plays a major role in forming and providing convincing content through printed, digital and social media platforms in partnership with other union employees under the supervision of the digital organization coordinator. This position is responsible for designing high -quality visual materials, producing attractive content, and ensuring time to provide timely communications that support organizational goals, campaigns and member participation.

Basic responsibilities:

Creative design and production

  • Create ready -made professional materials for publication, including newsletters, brochures, brochures, facts, advertising and training on educational campaigns and resources.
  • Create digital graphics and ready to print with Canva, Microsoft and other design tools.
  • Union’s artwork design, booty, branded clothes, banners, and digital assets for social media and network.

Field content and campaigns

  • Cooperation with field teams to determine the stories of the members, meet them and share them through social media and printing platforms.

Photography, video and multimedia

  • Capture and editing high -quality images and videos in events, and content design for the internal and external audiences in cooperation with the digital organization coordinator.
  • Creative and attractive videos are produced from the concept to the final product, the use of knowledge of lighting, sound, interviews and editing programs.
  • Currently stay with digital media trends, tools and technologies to enhance influence and participation.
  • Maintain and organize a large -scale digital media library.

Cooperation and communication

  • Work closely with employees to provide materials under the tight final dates with accuracy and creativity.
  • Clear communication and integrate notes to produce attractive and sliced ​​products.
  • Providing media relationship support sometimes as needed.
  • It is a backup copy of office reception duties, including the response to phones and inquiries.

Qualifications and skills

  • Strong design and planning skills with Ain Harda on the details.
  • Efficiency in different design tools such as Canva, PowerPoint and Adobe.
  • Experience with e -mail marketing, short messages, and survey platforms.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects under tight final dates.
  • Strong storytelling skills with photography and video and creating multimedia content.
  • Cooperative mentality and the ability to work through departments.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and current survival with industry trends.
  • Knowledge and experience in social media trends, advertising strategies, and analyzes.
  • Other duties are appointed.

There is a great overlap between the duties of this situation and the work of the communications performed by other union employees. When possible, communications and other union employees coordinate the work of communications through the digital regulation coordinator.

Work environment:
This position is a full-time site from Monday to Friday 8-5, but it sometimes requires flexible working hours, including some nights and weekends.

This position may require travel from time to time to work in UFCW 367 closters. A driving license for the car and the car with insurance.
