At the Faculty of Medicine, we achieve important scientific discoveries and translate them into successful clinical treatments. Through our links with the National Health Services, Industry and University on a larger scale, we are pushing the limits of medical research to address major health care issues. Role:

It will work closely with the individual appointed to the HTA license, the director of the University of the University of the University, the Director of Facilities Operations, and the Central Rego team to ensure the implementation of the tissue management framework, and to advise the organizational compliance and leadership in continuous improvement. With the ambition to increase research development and institutional activity, the role will be crucial to ensure the university’s compliance with relevant legislation and will work on continuous improvement of standards related to human tissue governance and management, which will include future projects to become accredited by RC (in the short to the average), and obtaining the ISO 20387 accreditation in the long term.

About you:

We are looking for a very proactive and organized individual with experience in organizational affairs and in developing and managing the quality control system. The job owner will be able to conduct a critical evaluation of activities, provide recommendations and influence positively on the practice to maintain organizational compliance. Although the individual may not have previous experience in HTA, it is expected to become an expert in the subject and provide expected advice and guidance on complex issues.
