We are looking for a full -time escort engineer to join the infrastructure, transport and gardens department. As an facility engineer, you will be part of the infrastructure design team. The design team is responsible for planning, budget, design and delivery, managing the city’s water distribution system, health collection system, and drainage infrastructure. North Vancouver is a combined and full community with a group of residents of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional facilities and the active land development environment.
The facility engineer will participate in a wide range of facilities management, including:
- Annual planning of facilities and balance,
- Review development applications for utility service,
- Coordination with other city teams regarding the effects of facilities for capital projects.
- Facilities and coordination projects with city design technicians,
- Work with external engineering advisers,
- Delivery of project construction, including tenders and contract management,
- Supervising the facilities management projects, and,
- Continuous asset management activities related to facilities.
The city seeks a multi -use and enthusiastic individual that is perfectly suitable for the wide range of work it faced in a small municipal environment. The perfectly successful candidate has experience in designing and building facilities, managing contracts, and was subjected to integrated storm water management, implementing storm water source controls, and managing gravitational pipeline systems, including case assessment, and flow and infiltration programs.
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, register or eligible to register with EGBC and have at least three years experience in the field of designing facilities, construction or management. It is recommended that some hydraulic modeling models or other hydraulic modeling models, Autodesk Cad and Esri Gis applications. A 5 -BC driving license is also required.
During the recruitment process, applicants will be required to provide the current police information examination (PIC).
We offer an attractive reward package and benefits for this exempt, including the compressed work schedule. The salary range ranges $ 119,964 to $ 141,132 annually (2024 rates).
