Our vision is to be the country’s leading public medicine college. We ranked second in primary care education among all American medicine and fifth schools among their general peers National Institutes of Health Research financing. Our allied health department is home to five high -level sections, and we are home to 18 clinical and basic scientific departments in the first place in National Institutes of Health Research financing.

Patient care: We will enhance health and provide great clinical care while maintaining our strong tradition of reaching the disadvantaged population and reducing healthy discounts throughout North Carolina.

Education: We will prepare tomorrow’s health care professionals and vital medical researchers by facilitating learning in innovative curricula and education directed towards the team. We will cultivate distinguished faculty and research members, and we will recruit distinguished students and trainees from very diverse backgrounds to create a socially responsible workforce and very skill.

Research: We will develop and support a rich collection of distinguished health science programs, centers and resources. We will provide infrastructure and opportunities for cooperation between specializations throughout our university to support distinguished research. We will enhance programs in the fields of basic, translation, mechanical and population research.
