The Head of Programs, Human Resources Development (HRD for The Jamat (ISMaili) at the ISMAILI Studies Institute

About the role:

The ISMaili Studies Institute (IIS) is looking for a president of enthusiastic and strategic programs, for Jamat to contribute to the inclusive intellectual life of the institute and serve it in the Ismaili community (JAMAT).

the Postolder is responsible for directing, developing and managing the provision of many human resources development programs for ISMAILI community institutions, especially for ISMAILI Tariqah (ITREB) in the world, but it is not limited to it.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing many direct reports, participating in consulting stakeholders, and handing over multiple complex projects on time and within the budget.

What we are looking for:

  • Driving and managing multiple programs and work currents
  • Design, develop and provide influential programs that offer human resource training to meet the needs of the global ISMaili Community (Jamat) system.
  • Show confidence and cultural sensitivity to speak comfortably with colleagues, members of society and the broader stakeholders, including academics, leadership and participants, the ability to communicate sensitive and complex information academically in the appropriate forms.
  • It actively contributes to the development and design of programs and high -quality stereotypes, evaluation frameworks, events, educational materials, teaching and learning strategies, and certificates issue/accreditation
  • Understand how academic research and advanced research can be adapted to Islamic and humanitarian studies for use and application in human resource training, as well as to meet the continuous development needs provided for current human resources
  • It understands the need and how to ensure that strong monitoring and evaluation frameworks exist for each program, in addition to identifying the results and main performance indicators (major performance indicators), goals and main results OKRS

desirable:

  • Master’s degree in Islamic studies, or education.
  • Doctorate in related fields of Islamic studies or education
  • Great experience in teaching and /or developing curriculum at the university level.
  • Available to travel at the national and international levels.
  • Verbal communication skills and the management of excellent interest, with the ability and fluency to speak with community leaders, researchers, teachers and teachers from various levels, Including the representation of the department and the institute in internal and external meetings
  • Commitment and a strong understanding of equal opportunities in a variety and multicultural environment and strong work ethics is clear to work with community programs
