Netskrt grows! We are looking for a talented test engineer based on the results to join the Netskrt team. This position is located in Vancouver in our beautiful office in the city center, next to the Borrad SkyTrain station. This is a 3 -day hybrid role, working from the house. This is the role of the contract for a year that may lead to a permanent position.

We are a very excited team for providing products and services that improve customer experience when reaching the Internet video on the edge of the network. We develop a set of targeted related technologies for companies that offer Wi -Fi to their customers in restricted domain environments.

Main responsibilities:

• Take a complete ownership of the quality assurance process – from strategy to implementation – closely with developers and product owners.
• Create, maintain and implement test plans and testing cases for job testing, slope, performance and expansion test.
• Automation of system and API tests using modern frameworks and tools.
• Test and validate that the program meets architectural, functional and performance expectations.
• Own the life cycle of errors: record, track, sort, and verify the correctness of repairs.
• Monitoring and reporting progress made through different stages of development.
• Providing practical notes for engineering teams and product teams to improve quality and ease of use.
• Mentor Junior Qa Team members as needed and help raise comprehensive test standards.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering or a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing roles.
• A strong practical experience in:
• Design testing strategies, test plans, and testing test cases.
• API test using tools like postman or Restassord.
• Performance and download a test using tools such as Jmeter, Netperf, etc.
• Linux environments, with the ability to explore and fix errors and verify the validity of the system at the system level.
• Efficiency in at least one modern programming language (for example, Java, Python, or C#).
• Experience with test management systems such as Jira, Zephyr scale, etc.
• Experience with tools/work frames such as selenium.
• SQL Skills Strong and Try to inquire about relationship databases.

• Practical experience with:
• CI/CD tubes and tools such as GIT, JENKINS.
• Great development processes at startup or fast -paced environments.
• Cloud techniques, networks and storage.
• Containers and infrastructure tools (for example, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, Pupet).
• CDN techniques and cache (for example, Akamai, Fastly, Netflix, Limelight).
• TLS/SSL and relevant data safety concepts.
