About the opportunity:

The sports facility supervisor is responsible for ensuring the daily, effective and effective daily operation of the Sports Facilities Center. This includes supervision of the center’s aides and supervising customer activities during the designated transformations. This role is a pivotal in supporting health and safety standards, enhancing team development, and providing a constantly high -quality experience to all installations users.

The main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring smooth delivery and coordination for the use of the facility and scheduled activity programs.
• Terminal Management Center assistants, provide guidance and support to maintain operating excellence.
• As a deputy director of operations, which contributes to the management of all UWE Bristol Sport facilities, including the Sports Center, Wallscourt Farm Gym, and Hill Gardens.
• Support the implementation of standard operating procedures and ensure complete compliance with health and safety rules.

You must have experience in overseeing the team, motivating and training with the ability to communicate effectively with a group of people, including university employees, students and members of the public.

This role will include a fixed ROTA style for 4 weeks – two days will be as an official (18.5 hours) the remaining hours will be issued on an administrative basis, distributed throughout the week.

Wk1 – service officer: Monday 07:00 – 17:00, Tuesday 07:00 – 15:30)

WK2 – Wed/Thu Admin, Service Officer Friday 07:00 – 13:00 Saturday 08:30 – 21:00

WK3 – Service Officer: Tuesday 14:30 – 23:00 Friday 13:00 – 23:00 Wed/Thursday – Supervisor

WK4 – Officer of duty: mon/tue 13:15 – 22:30 first/thu – admin
