It was named in honor of Louise Thuaden, a pioneering pilot from Bentonville, Thadin School It was opened in the fall of 2017 with only 50 students in grades 7 and 9. With its official indexed resource program, the school has grown steadily, and enrollment will be more than 345 students in the K-1 and 6-12 grades for the academic year 2024-25. The 35 -acre campus in the center of Bentonville will support up to 600 students. By the academic year 2026-27, Thuaden will present the kindergarten to the twelfth grade.

With the expansion of Thaden to the K-12 School, we are looking for many special offers to complete our team. The lower school is committed to the integration of arts and nature, where children work and play in our classroom, our natural stadium, which has an acre area, and the rich community of northwest Arkansas.

Thuaden School is now seeking a library secretary at the lowest school. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced library secretary to develop a library and school group.

The role and responsibilities

  • Enabling young children to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skilled researchers, and moral users of information.
  • Establishing an attractive space, welcome and generating an understanding of the multi -faceted role of libraries in society.
  • Provide, develop, manage and enhance a group representing various cultures, experiences and views.
  • Cooperation with teachers at the class level, and the Secretary of the Middle/High School Library, and other special offers.
  • Preparing and managing the budget of the lower school library to support the specified program goals.
  • Helping the chief technology officials in managing, repairing and distributing equipment.
  • Supporting successful integration of new technologies in the semester through cooperation with faculty and students.
  • Teach the weekly library classes and grades 2-4.
  • Attendance and participation actively on service days and faculty meetings.
  • Perform duties outside the semester during the specified hours (this includes the holiday, the reception office, car escorts, and/or lunch duties).
  • It effectively interacts with a variety of students, families, faculty and employees.
  • The philosophy of Thadin is working with students, parents, colleagues and management.

Skills, qualifications and features
