Professor of Biography of lymphoma (Fakhiri Adviser) at Cambridge University
The University of Cambridge and the Hematology Department calls for the position of blood diseases professor in the biology of lymphoma (an honorary advisor).
The Department of Hematology is part of the Faculty of Clinical Medicine, Cambridge University, and it currently has 17 independent research groups and more than 80 researchers after a doctorate. Our groups have made great contributions to studying blood diseases, composing nearly 100 leaflets per year, and many of these in highly influential magazines, production discoveries, especially in the fields of malignant in the blood, leukemia, lymphoma, natural blood medicine, transportation, and structural biology.
The department’s work is closely related to scientists throughout the campus in Cambridge Medical, the United Kingdom and the international community as well as Adenbrok Hospital, a major university educational hospital with more than 1,000 beds and a comprehensive group of regional services for all East England. The main base of the departments is located within the Jeffrey Chih Medical Center (JCBC), but it also occupies an area at the Cambridge Medical Research Institute, (CIMR), NHS and Bradsplant Blood and Wellcome Sanger Institute. As a professor in the department, the postal holder will play a major role in developing and connecting an ambitious research strategy to complete global research, teaching and clinical service in the department. The successful candidate will participate with the main stakeholders within the university and NHS to develop innovative research and support our commitment to educational excellence, financial responsibility and influence within NHS. As a professor of hematology, the chosen individual will contribute to excellence in research that specifically includes international leadership in the field of malignant lymphoma cancer, biology, diagnosis and treatment. PostHolder also will also have 2 clinical commitment, and will contribute to clinical teaching within the department/faculty and must have GMC’s eligibility to practice in the United Kingdom.
Candidates will have experience in academic leadership and management, and they will be able to show the strategic vision, especially in the field of malignant lymphoma. A successful candidate will have a busy record of internationally recognized research in the field of malignant lymphoma, including publications in high -quality magazines, a busy record in developing and securing external research financing, and supervising researchers after doctorates and doctoral students. The appointed will also have the ability to manage and develop effective business relationships with research employees and offer a strong commitment to strengthening an ambitious, comprehensive and gentle research environment.
This is an integrated date between the university and the confidence/ the relevant NHS (“NHS TRUST”). So you will also be released with an honorary clinical contract by NHS TRST.
