About the role

A post -physical researcher participant is available in an inorganic/organic chemical/organic to conduct research in the field of copper motivation (I).

This follows the awards of the new EPSRC Award for the University of Bath, entitled “Activated by carbon dioxide and infertility in phosphorous copper bonds.” It will work in the LIPTROT group, which extends to the main group that extends, stimulates copper (I) and synthesis of materials. The project will focus on generating and exploiting copper complexes (I) in the incentive reactions. The role is available from November 2025 to February 2027, and has a funding available to support training and travel opportunities.

About you

We are seeking a post-PhD candidate to conduct research in the public domain of the main and mechanical group and the chemistry of Group 11. We are especially interested in the candidates who are interested in following our latest report on a boat that contains copper-RSC (Ra Jackson, NJ Evans, DJ Babula, TM Horsley Download, RSC Charman, SE Neale, MF Mahon, DJ LIPTROT; Copper nuclei (-I) in a compound with CU-MG; Nature Communications, 2025, 16, 1101.).

A successful candidate is expected to synthesize a group of copper collections (I) complexes, make mechanical analyzes, and draft papers and supervise graduate and master’s students. All new compounds will be analyzed by a mixture of NMR multi -core spectral analysis, X -ray animal analysis and mass spectrum animals.

It is necessary to finish a doctorate in a related area, and the previous experience in the creation and description of high weather and humidity. It is advisable to be the record of the completion of the publications that the pendants reviewed.
