Music Services Supervisor (Academic Communication) at Cambridge University

Role:
Music Services Supervisor (Academic Communication) meets a major role in supporting teaching and research at the College of Music. The role holder is responsible for the daily operations in the library of the faculty members of music and projects and activities on academic communication that focuses on music through libraries and archives of Cambridge University.
As a music services supervisor:
- Providing high -quality user services.
- Development and presentation of teaching sessions on musical information skills and resources.
- Make sure to discover groups and provide reading menu materials.
- Communicate with the academic community to ensure that all musical information needs meet.
- Supervising daily management.
What we are looking for:
- A literacy and a good understanding of music as an academic topic.
- Experience of developing and providing library services.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Digital literacy, such as understanding the requirements of descriptive data for music materials or the potential role of Amnesty International in providing music services.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in an environment facing the user.
