York University is looking for a research colleague to join the Research Support Center for the National Institute for Research and Welfare (NIHR) (RSS) hosted by York University, in partnership with the universities of Sheffield and Wals. NIHR RSS provides smooth access to support, advice, research design and pre -application until the post -application researchers working via Nihr’s jurisdiction in England. RSS is provided through eight centers throughout England who meet with national cooperation.

We seek to appoint a researcher who plays a major role in the work of our RSS Center as a consultant specializing in advice and support for the inclusion of research for researchers looking for support from our center. You will also cooperate with colleagues about the design and delivery of workshops and other events for researchers and networks and the participation of stakeholders.
The necessary skills, experience and qualifications
Some of the basic requirements of the role are listed below, please see the functional description of the full list of basic standards.
- Doctorate degree in an area related to applied health research or equivalent experience
- Knowing the inclusion of research and research in research with residents who suffer from lack of services
- Knowing a group of research techniques and methodologies, including methods to support equality, diversity and inclusion in research
- A comprehensive knowledge of Al -Nahrand Other relevant research financing flows and the research scene in the United Kingdom
- Experience in integrating patient and public participation in the research
- Experience in designing and/or implementing strategies/methods to support the inclusion of research
- Very sophisticated communication skills to actively engage with a large -scale audience, orally and writing, using a set of media
- The ability to lead and/or take responsibility for a small research project or specific parts of a large project
- The ability to persuade stakeholders and influence the project
