Power duties

Data analyst and reports will play a pivotal role in tracking the progress of broadband initiatives throughout the state and ensuring that accurate and implementable data is available to direct decision -making. This includes:

  • Data collection and analysis: collection and analysis of broadband data, access and use to assess the effectiveness and access of broadband programs and services.

  • Create and manage the dashboard: develop and maintain comprehensive information panels for data, with a special focus on creating a wide domain data panel using Powerbi. This dashboard will visualize the previous, current and future office efforts related to reaching the wide range throughout Maryland.

  • Development of the report: Preparing regular internal and external reports that include visions and recommendations based on data analysis. These reports will support strategic decisions and submit updates to director and program managers.

  • Research and Politics Support: Conducting research on national broader practices and trends to inform the state’s broadcast policies and initiatives. Helping in implementing the procedures and policies designed to enhance the broadband program in the state.
The role is necessary in supporting the office’s mission to increase access to high -speed internet in the disadvantaged areas by ensuring that data is provided in a clearly accessible data to inform critical decisions.

The minimum qualifications

education: Graduation from an accredited secondary school or possession of a high school equation certificate.

expertise: Five years of administrative employees or professional work.

1. Candidates can replace 30 accredited hours from an accredited college or university per year to four years of expertise required.

The contractors who work in an agency covered under the state employee program and the health and luxury advantages program for retirees may be a current employment contract and work 30 hours or more per week (or on average 130 hours per month) qualified to obtain coverage of health benefits supported by themselves. As a contractual employee, you will be responsible for paying 25 % of medical coverage and prescription premiums, including any of the qualified recipients you have recorded. Maryland will support the remaining 75 % of the cost of these benefits. You can also choose to register for teeth coverage, insurance on accidental death, cutting insurance, and life insurance, but will be responsible for paying a full installment of these advantages.

The leave may be granted to a 120 -day business contract employee in a 12 -month period. This leave accumulates at one hour per 30 hours, and does not exceed 40 hours per calendar year.
