The main purpose of the job


This position provides continuous consultation, monitoring and supervision of the employment of children and children’s care agencies that are contracted and/ or licensed by the Ministry of Human Services, the Ministry of Juvenile Services or the Ministry of Health in Maryland to ensure the protection of all vulnerable children in these departments from more abuse or neglect. This position also recommends repetition of the current agencies through the inspections announced and not announced to ensure adherence to the agencies for COMAR 07.02.21, COMAR 07.05.01-04, COMAR 07.05.04, and Comar 14.31.05-07 in providing services for children placed outside their homes. Protection of weak children is a major component to show the DHS mission. This position requires graduate degree in social work from an accredited institution by the Social Education Council and holds a social work license in Maryland.

Power duties

  • Licenses and repetitions and screens of agencies compliance with state policies and directives.

The minimum qualifications
