Higher Education Services Officer (part -time) at Cambridge University

Cambridge University seeks to appoint a senior administrative official to support the work of educational services. The role will contribute to the delivery of institutional priorities by providing high -level administrative support through a set of strategic and operational activities.

Providing reports to the high leadership leadership team, Postolder will work through multiple teams, policy development support, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with internal and external requirements.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to senior leaders and teams through education services, especially during the transition periods or increased operational demand.
  • Leadership and review of institutional policies and strategic documents, including background research and the participation of stakeholders.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of intersection initiatives in line with the educational goals of the university.
  • Determining and implementing improvements on administrative processes, including assessing the effects of resources and providing training or guidance as necessary.
  • Coordination of preparing and providing institutional returns, such as the access and participation plan and the educational excellence framework (TEF).
  • Support risk identification and mitigation planning through administrative functions.
  • Providing temporary coverage of higher administrative roles, including font management and budget control, when necessary.

A successful candidate will have a great experience in a major administrative role, preferably in the field of higher education or a complicated environment. Organizational, analytical and communication skills are strong, along with the ability to work cooperatively through teams and jobs.
