The Abraham Institute is looking for an experienced person to provide strategic leadership and monitoring from the genome facility. Postolder will be a recognized and active participant in the genome community, and is to participate in conferences and societal events.

The head of the facility will supervise the delivery of advanced sequence services and the preparation of libraries, which include a short and long-reading sequence, a single-cell RNA -seq function, and a comprehensive sample quality monitoring. They will ensure that technologies are published optimally to support advanced research through a wide range of biological applications.

PostHolder will contribute to the institute’s strategic direction by harmonizing the facility’s capabilities with advanced research priorities in our three strategic program: creation science, immunology, and signals. This will include the leadership of innovation within the facility, the contribution to the development of new methodologies, and the integration of emerging technologies.

In addition to supporting internal research, the facility plays a major role in serving the commercial biological science community on the Babraham Research campus and beyond, by making fees for service, cooperation, and consulting. PostHolder will enhance cooperation with internal research groups and external partners in the cross -sector to enhance the impact of the elbow and clarity.

The role of overseeing a genome and regular communication specialist with facility users to discuss the design and implementation of sequence projects and review the data created.

PostHolder will present a service directed towards the service, supported by strong communication skills, ensuring high -quality, timely support, and reliable for all users.

The Genoom Equity Chair is the 4th Division Publication. However, there is an opportunity for strong candidates who may not yet fulfill all the required skills and experience but show clear potential to meet the requirements. In such cases, the candidate will be appointed in Division 5 and a development plan will be developed to meet individual training needs.
