About the role:

The ISMAILI Studies Institute (IIS) is looking for a prominent researcher and a prominent leader of the Presidency of the Academic Research Department (DAR).

As a major member of the institute’s high leadership team, DAR will provide the strategic directive and lead the institute’s research agenda, ensuring his position as a global leader in Islamic studies, with a special focus on Ismaili, Shiites and Quranic studies. Postholder will lead in developing and delivering research programs, enhancing excellence in academic production, faculty members, and building strong international cooperation that extends the impact of the institute around the world.

We are looking for:

• Driving in a multidisciplinary research and cooperation strategy.
• A strong record of the publications and the recognition in this field (Associate Professor of Professor/Advanced).
• The ability to direct faculty members, finance secure, and involve various masses.
• Lack of Arabic and another related language; Additional linguistic skills are desirable.

The ISMaili Studies Institute (IIS) conducts research and produces publications and runs educational programs that enhance scholarships in the previously marginalized fields to study Islam. IIS is a registered charity and works on a very multidisciplinary basis, partnership with many learning institutions, including service, and the University of London.
