Lavaiite College seeks to obtain a strategic, dynamic and experienced leader to work as a deputy sports director. The MP to the Sports Manager as a major member of the executive leadership team of the administration, who is responsible for directing the daily operations of the sports department and progressing in its long -term strategic goals.

The Deputy Sports Director will provide insight and operational leadership, as he works as a major adviser to athletics director. This position will supervise sports and employees programs, budget management, allocate direct resources, leadership initiatives that enhance competitiveness, enhance sports students experience, and improve comprehensive jobs.

Basic responsibilities:
Daily administrative operations

    Supervising the sports program

  • Development and management of a comprehensive model for sports supervision to support the success of all 23 squash programs.
  • Providing direct supervision of the designated sporting partnership with the main coaches to create goals, evaluate performance, support employment efforts, and enhance the welfare of sports students, while ensuring that this framework is constantly applying through all sports officials.
  • Make regular assessments of teams and cooperate with coaches and officials to align competitive performance, academic achievement and departments standards.
  • Ensure that all sports programs work with integrity, financial accountability, and a strong commitment to diversity, fairness and inclusion.

    Strategic leadership and presentation

  • It works as a major member of the management of the administration’s executive leadership, and works as a strategic consultant for athletics manager in planning, politics and governance.
  • Providing inputs and guidance to a long -term vision, priorities, and organizational represent the department in the campus committees and in external meetings, conferences and events as appointed by the advertisement.

    Employees management and employee development

  • Determining and implementing costs saving opportunities, improving efficiency, and strategic redress to enhance program growth and facility improvements.
  • Providing budget guidelines and support for key trainers and unit leaders, enhancing financial literacy, accountability, and active resource management.

    Strategic support for progress and external relationships

  • A partner with athletics manager and the office of funding for donation, graduate participation, and external partnership initiatives.
  • Cooperation in planning and implementing donor and strategic communications events and projects that enhance the vision and support of athletics.
  • Cooperation with the Director of the Athletics Office and the progress to integrate companies’ participation strategies with the efforts to collect donations, marketing and graduate relationships.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
