About the life of the ocean culture

Oceanic Cultural Life (OCL) is a global community of stories in the ocean, conservative specialists, and change makers. We are working through charitable and commercial fields to inflate the invitation to the environment by telling stories, partnerships, education and events.

We are expanding, we are seeking to get Communications head For ownership of all contacts via OCL. From strategy and team management to external representation, this role will guarantee that the OCL voice is clear, consistent and convincing across each point of contact.

About the role

the Communications head Responsible for the leadership of the OCL telecommunications team and overseeing all external and internal communications. You will manage the outputs and agree on our website, social media, newsletters, YouTube campaigns, partners and events, ensuring everything that reflects the OCL mission and a brand.

You will work directly with Head of Vision (COV)and FilmAnd Head of social mediaHelping to manage workflow tasks and keep the team move efficiently. It will also be lead on External communicationsIt is prepared by media and comments events to support conversations, paintings and opportunities for the press.

This role requires a balance Big image strategy and practical delivery. You will set the trend and manage the team and also enter to improve the visual copies, review the images and ensure that the outputs are professional and align.

Main responsibilities

Leadership and alignment

• OCL’s communication strategy, ensuring a unified voice across all platforms.
• Management and support of the Telecom Team (social media, movies, design), maintaining effective workflow flows and alignment outputs.
• Work directly with Cove, the head of the film, and the head of social media To integrate the novel and campaigns.
• Report to the CEO on progress, opportunities and challenges through communications.

Digital channels

• Supervising the website and OCL platform, and ensuring that the content is currently and convincing.
• YouTube strategy guidance: content scheduling, improvement, and audience participation.
• Providing supervision of planning and implementation on social media (in cooperation with the director of social media).

The opening and publications

• Drafting and editing newsletters with inspiring stories and strong calls to work.
• Supervising communications for events such as Ocean conversations, the world of the global ocean and the global campaigns.
• It leads to the production of influence reports, partner brochures, and external materials.

External communications

• OCL is in communications with partners, media and events organizers.
• Prepare materials for conversations, paintings, press and media coverage.
• Ensure that all partner communications (proposals, floors and reports) are clear and professional and compatible with OCL.

Main requirements

• 7+ years experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or editorial leadership.
• The ability to manage and align the telecommunications team.
• Strong writing and editing skills; I am sure to produce a copy of the various fans.
• Experience with web sites (WordPress or similar CMS), newsletters (mailchimp or the like), and supervision of social media.
• Infinter with YouTube content and improvement.
• Maher in the strategy balance with the process of delivery.
• Experience of the external Comments preparation (journalistic bulletins, media packages, juvenile summaries).
• Cooperative mentality and strong organizational skills.
• A passion for preserving oceans, environmental justice, and storytelling.

Salary and privileges

• Annual salary: 35,000 pounds – 38,000 pounds (With possible flexibility depending on experience).
