Vice President of Academic Quality and Partnerships at UWE, Bristol
- Contractual hours: 18.5
We have an exciting opportunity for a high skilled education team with the ability to join the UWE Bristol quality and academic partnership (AQPE). Vice -President (standards and accreditation) is one of three main roles, working in cooperation together under the supervision of the head of academic quality and partnerships – other roles are the Vice President (cooperative ruling) and deputy head of (curricula). By working closely with a partner in the business squad, the successful candidate will provide AQPE for services that support standards and accreditation, in addition to working as a commercial partner for one of our three academic colleges.
The quality promotion team and academic partnerships provides support at the university level for the continuous development and review of the UWE Bristol educational portfolio through three intertwined areas of activity:
- Criteria and accreditation: Supporting supervision of organizational compliance with regard to quality and standards and participation with professional, legal and organizational bodies
- Course: Design support, development, approval and continuous improvement of academic programs of the university, including coordination support for curriculum projects and initiatives across the university and related evaluation activities
- Cooperative Ruling: Supporting the development of academic partnerships in the United Kingdom and Academy in the United Kingdom and control and reinforcement, including industrial disciples.

You combine advanced knowledge, understanding good practice and the latest thinking about academic quality, while adhering to enhancing innovation and continuous improvement in the development of the program and partnership. Flexible, you enjoy working at a pace and rest with complexity and mystery. With excellent communication and influential skills, you are confident of challenging the wisdom received and open to change. You are enthusiastic about higher education and you have the ability to inspire teams to provide high -quality services.

This is a part -time permanent publication, operating 18.5 hours per week as part of the business band.
