Role summary:

This position is full full time immediately to cover exclusion in the technical strategy And operations (TSO). The role of the artistic technician will support the biological science research laboratories present at the Henry Wilcum Biology Center on the Streatham campus.

The technician will play a major role in managing the operational aspects of research and teaching within laboratories. When submitting reports to the director of technical operations and work under the supervision of faculty members, they will be responsible for the daily laboratory management and ensure the provision of an effective and effective research environment and teaching.

This role is within Strategy and technical operations Part of the section. We are research and teaching technical employees across the entire University of Exter. We work in specialized fields throughout the university and beyond, and we run and support research, teaching, promoting compliance and best practices, in laboratories, studios, workshops, and field.

The service consists of a team of talented individuals who support our education and research, and in training the next generation of senior scientists. Our artistic roles, which include experimental officers, laboratory technicians and research technicians, are all focused on various aspects of science and humanities – from mechanical/electrical engineering, medicine and health, life sciences, social sciences, cinema, drama and communications, physics, geology and geography, and much more.
