Sports Production Director (CBS Sports)

Summary of the job:

The director and sports production will apply a deep knowledge of sports production and the love of sports to work with the CBS sports production management team to help develop young production talents. The manager will have an eye that is keen on details and high expectations for broadcasting quality, with special knowledge and graphics. They will work with a group of broadcasting partners, exchange their experiences, provide constructive comments, and work to develop skills as part of a team. The chosen person will also alternately oversee live events and weekend holidays, communicate live with the distant team and manage commercial stocks with one event flow to another.

A successful director, sports production, must love sports, achieve a positive position, and have a comprehensive knowledge of remote production with a focus on drawings and enjoyment of working in a living environment while making decisions in actual time, while committing to supporting high standards and providing comments in a positive and constructive way.

Responsibilities:

• Join the production management team from the CBS Sports/CBS sports network, under the supervision of SVP, remote production and CP production, remote production on custom properties.
• Managing a selection of broadcasting partners and assisting its growth and development. It is expected to provide regular reactions, help integrate new recruits in the workflow of CBS SPORTS, and work with a remote production leadership team to supervise the development of performance and growth.
• Ordinary transformations “upon request” that oversee live events on the CBS sports network, communicate with the actual time production team, manage the transformations from the game to the game, and deal with the general quality monitoring of live events.
• Help with a remote integration papers for the CBS sports network, collect related information such as promotions, air timing, studio support, etc., for the game sets to be one reference.
• Cooperation with other departments in CBS SPORTS while merging with production, including but not limited to, graphics and marketing/promotional offers, and transfer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, press journalism or a relevant field.
• Wide knowledge and passion for sports.
• At least five years experience in television production, including work on direct remote controls at the advertising level or higher (more favorite experience).
• Required to work on working days/working hours (nights and weekends).
• Very proactive and organized with the ability to multiple tasks in a fast -paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills, comfortable managing people.
• You should be directed to the details.
