salary
Researcher: 33,002 pounds to 34,610 pounds annually.
Located researcher: 35,608 pounds to 43,482 pounds annually.

Role
An exciting opportunity to apply advanced methods of medical chemistry to discover anti -cancer medications in a prosperous and multidisciplinary academic discovery group. As a researcher on the medical chemistry team to apply organic chemistry, it will detect new cancer treatments.

The project will include the design and synthesis of vehicles for biological test. The candidate on the drug detection team will work alongside other medical chemists, structural biologists and cancer pharmacists to advance projects to discover experimental drugs.

The project is part of the Newcastle Research drug program in the United Kingdom and as a partnership with cancer research prospects and ASTEX Pharmaceuticals. It is perfectly suitable for candidates who have a background in organic chemistry, medical chemistry or chemical biology, especially with those who have an ambition to follow a future profession in the discovery of drugs.

This two -year -old postponed post with the possibility of extension.
