Summary of the job

This is a unique opportunity to join a cinematic school with a rich history and a fixed commitment to practical films. You will play a pivotal role in directing ambitious audio recorders in filmmaking. The basic responsibilities of the lecturer are to help planning, preparing and delivering teaching in proper production and recording to produce films, to provide workshops and practical feeding and feedback on the audio elements for production within practical filmmaking exercises. You will be inspiring and supporting the next generation of audio acquisition for movie professionals in one of the best film schools in the United Kingdom.

What will you do:

• Plans, preparation and education of the sound production sessions in the line in the specifications of the training course and the unit, using a set of delivery and methods.
• Conducting a training evaluation of the student’s progress, performance and participation in the brief evaluation of the work of good students.
• Participate in the introductory teaching of students and technical /equipment. Attending cutting, CRISTS, photography support sessions to comments and support for students ’work.
• Keep aware of the current developments in recording and audio production in the film industry.

Who we are looking for:

We welcome requests from individuals who have:

• Experience in the wide industry as a sound of sound / first sound auxiliary in TV drama and high -end films, with an important experience in teaching the audio recording of the film (drama and documentary films) at the BA or MA level.
• They are to tell stories using the sound inside the film and a great interest in working in the public film teaching model at the BA or MA level.
• A strong commitment to the development of students and the guidance on the creative development of proper practice and the storytelling of stories creatively and technically.
