The main purpose of the job
This position is the full performance of food preparation work in government hospitals or residential facilities. This position may train, appoint and review the work of the minimum employees participating in food production. This position receives general supervision of a chef or another dedicated employee in the food services program. This position may be needed to work on weekends and holidays, and it can be set in a seizure and may undergo contact. The work done in the central kitchen may require employees to work in severe heat areas or cold temperatures.
This position will be evaluated using the classification function evaluation methodology. The use of this method includes comparing the duties and responsibilities allocated to the position of the job standards in the nature of the work and examples of the work departments in the classroom specifications. Cook I and Cook II are distinguished on the basis of a degree of supervisory control practiced by the supervisor of these employees. Cook I perform duties under close supervision and under general supervision at other times depending on the complexity of the specific duty that is implemented while this position performs a full set of duties and responsibilities under general supervision.
The minimum qualifications
education: no one.
expertise: Three years of experience in preparing food in a public or governmental institution, such as a restaurant, hospital or similar institution that includes cooking meat and vegetables and preparing salads and drinks.
Notes:
1. Candidates can replace graduation from a vocational/technical secondary school approved with a specialization in the food service or a related field for up to two years of the required experience.
2. Candidates can replace military service experience in the US Armed Forces as an employee who is not authorized in cooking classifications or specialization in food services in the field of equipment services and work facilities on an annual basis for the required experience.

Indicate clearly to your university degree and specialize in your request, if possible. For education obtained outside the United States, any work offer will be placed on the candidate that provides an assessment of the equation through the foreign accreditation evaluation service before starting work (and it can be requested before the interview).
