Providing reports to CAO deputy, you will be a human resource expert, and direct everything from policy development programs to direct a small but great team. Your knowledge of the leading practices in human resources management and employment legislation will also be necessary to excel in this role as it will supervise all employment and employees relationships, including participation in collective negotiation with multiple union staff groups. The qualifications of this position include:
- The post -secondary degree in human resources, business administration, relevant experience and seven (7) years experience in the position of human resources, preferably in a union environment in the public sector (or an equivalent mix)
- CPHR is one of the assets
- A great knowledge of employment, compensation and benefits, management and relationships of employees, employment, job evaluation, performance management and attendance, conflict resolution, workforce planning, interpretation of collective agreement and human resources legislation (for example Employment Standards Law, Workers Compensation Law, Human Rights LawEtc.)
- Knowing, experimenting, planning, developing and implementing projects and initiatives related to human resources
- Analytical skills and solved problems with the ability to develop comprehensive and strategic solutions for complex cases
- Strong skills between people with knowledge and experience in consulting and facilitation, with the ability to assess the capabilities of the leadership team and influence leaders to comply with the strategic human resources goals
- A strong understanding of the best practice, safety, experience and experience
- Feeling of humor, with the ability to take your work seriously, but not yourself

The salary range for this regular position is 117,941.10 to 138,754.23 dollars annually, as well as an excellent interest package including one of the best pension plans in Canada, and a 35 -hour average work week with a flexible days.
