Founded in 1943, our learning network provides outdoor education courses, day and residential for all ages. We aim to create great opportunities for everyone to get to know nature.

What will you do?

This role will lead to working with schools, colleges, and secondary and secondary universities to provide activities associated with curricula that will increase students’ understanding of nature and the environment.

Your day will include the development, planning and presentation of courses in the outdoor teaching sites for students in the trips of scientific and geography schools. This will include leading groups of all capabilities in the local environment, which always guarantees you the health and safety of the group.

When you do not work in this field, you will also be happy to contribute to other aspects of working in a crowded educational center. This is a very active role, some weeks will be long and tiring, but our teachers find this work very rewarding, and we will also do it!

It will be its headquarters

The EPPing Forest Council is located at the heart of the Epping Forest, an area of ​​about 2,400 hectares of the Manor Park wooden river in East London to the North Epping in Essex.

Two -thirds of the forest has been appointed as a SSSI and a special area for memorization (SAC). The integrated center, which is fully accessible, contains six classrooms, and facilities linked, with direct access to teaching sites that include forests, herbal lands, Hathr and the river.

As part of this situation, you will also be asked to travel and work through London learning sites. We offer a set of courses throughout the capital, using natural and inspiring locations including Bushy Park, Regents Park, Greenwich Park, Beckenham Place Park and Strateford.

By working in a wide range of field sites, our courses can suit a wide range of educational needs. All our learning sites are completely accessible and are near tube or train stations.

Who are we looking for

You will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant topic and some previous experience in teaching or teaching. You will also be confident of the production and preparation of various learning resources. In addition, you will have:
