The EPFL College and its Institute for Mechanical Engineering invites applications for the faculty website Systems Engineering. The date will be at the level of the Popular Path, with the expected start date in the fall of 2026 (or a mutual agreed date). The main work site is the Sion Seon.

We are looking for exceptional candidates with experience in systems engineering, especially those who focus on designing complex systems to follow a holistic approach that is considered environmental impact and sustainability. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of developing strict and systematic methods for designing multi -scale complex systems, their awareness, management, management and retirement. The regulation engineering research fields that we focus on, to name a few: I) includes multi -range transformation systems, storage, complementarity and distribution; 2) Sustainable life cycle systems; 3) Sports models for integrated systems, 4) Energy in transportation systems.

Doctorate is required in the date of start. The candidate is expected to develop an independent and international research program in our multidisciplinary environment. The candidate will supervise PhD students and interact with researchers on the EPFL campus. A successful candidate must have a strong commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching and contributing to mechanical engineering education programs on both university levels and graduate studies.
