Director of Supreme Charitable Business at Birmingham University

salary: A full -time starting salary in the range is usually 47,389 pounds to 56,535 pounds, with a possible time in the post to 63,606 pounds.

Role summary

As a campaign to collect prominent donations in Daru, you will be innovative and self -excited, and takes ownership of donations, with a special consensus with one of University colleges. As part of a dynamic team led by some of the most respectable names in collecting donations in higher education, it will work throughout the university to generate important gifts for amazing charitable projects and encourage new donors to provide long -term and sustainable gifts. You will have enthusiasm to build relationships, the skill of interacting with donors and high -level supporters, and the ability to display the changing work of our academic work and doctors.

Main duties

As a great manager of charitable works, you will excel in the following areas:

  • Responsible for increasing six number+ charitable gifts for the University of Birmingham, and developing a sustainable pipeline of prospects and charitable income.
  • Managing a group from 80 to 100 potential donors who will initially be a mixture of graduates and non -graduates at the university with the expectation of expanding this through peer and research connections.
  • Show an understanding that successful donation collects depends on building effective relationships, which are commensurate with the interest of potential donors with the field of strength and/or opportunities at the university. Be responsible for the process of managing the comprehensive relationships of your contacts, including:
    • Determine newly potential donors from your networks.
    • Make the approach and manage a designed transplant.
    • Translation of complex ideas, including academic research and university strategy, into convincing messages designed for individual supporters.
  • Delivery against the specified goals, including the collected funds, asks for work and guaranteed meetings. Regular reporting of the delivery of this KPTS to the head of charitable works.
  • As a campaign to collect prominent donations in the team, it leads role models to show Daru’s behaviors, and to work at a pace and energy.
  • Responsible for the Department of Calligraphy and Vocational Development of the Director of Charitable Business (who in turn, runs a charitable business officer).
  • Any other duties that fit the class.

Required knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience

  • He received his education to the level of certificate (or equivalent qualifications) plus Important practical experience.
  • The reliable knowledge of work practices, operations and procedures related to the role, including the broader awareness of the sector.
  • A strong understanding of donations and data protection.
  • The experience of identifying and building long -term relationships with high -value individuals (HNWI), donors, supporters and volunteers.
  • The experience of developing medium -term and long -term seam strategies and their use to increase income and enhance the “culture of giving” throughout the set of expectations.
