Digital employee, web content and social media – Gilf, On, Canada Gilf University Freshgs.ca
the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (CEPS) – One of seven colleges in Gilf University -It includes five schools and departments (computer science, engineering, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, and physics) with more than 150 faculty or neglected members, more than 80 employees, and about 4000 graduate students and university students. With many major research centers, institutes, and advanced research infrastructure, CEPS is involved in many prominent external partnerships.
CEPS is looking for an innovative and cooperative Web content employee and digital social media To enhance and develop the presence of digital media. As an expert in the topic, you will be responsible for the strategic management of CEPS digital platforms, with the aim of supporting building relationships with stakeholders, building brand awareness, and investing in CEPS.
You behave as the main digital media supplier in the college, its design and best practices, you will work closely with other members of the CEPS Telecom Team and Academic Units for Planning, Management and Evaluation of Strategic Digital Projects and multimedia projects to help achieve the goals of employment, marketing, communications and external relations. More specifically, will:
- Create, develop, manage and implement the CEPS annual social media content and digitalization plan to achieve the CEPS marketing strategy.
- Evaluating and evaluating the needs of employees and faculty members, identifying and recommending opportunities to improve.
- Implementing and coordinating the market, stakeholders and final users, and integrating into future planning initiatives.
- Manage and update the CEPS website, review all the contents of the brand received, accurately, and the best practices of SEO, compatibility with the CEPS strategic plan before publishing.
- In consultation with the main stakeholders and faculty members, developing and implementing strategic social media campaigns (organic and paid), consensus with the critical dates in the CEPS operational cycle and working with relevant university communications staff.
- Providing advice to the leadership of faculty, employees and college on digital media and best practices for digital design.
- Providing strategic planning and budget inputs for digital media.
- Help develop newsletters for college, annual reports and other printed publications and online, as needed.
- Collecting and analyzing data on CEPS digital media performance.
- Project Management Project to use external sources of marketing communications projects.
- Support filling service gaps associated with digital media in the academic units of the college.
Meeting the expectations of the role of the official content official, web content and social media calls for self -self -intended communication with a profile that includes:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communications, marketing, journalism, graphic design, a relevant program, and at least two years (2) of experience in a related field, preferably inside or working with an academic institution, or a combined mix of education and experience.
The experience of social media management experience and the use of content management systems such as Drupal, SharePoint, Canva, WordPress, Hootsuite and/or Facebook Business Suite.
Experience in developing, implementing and evaluating strategic digital media campaigns and/or plans showed
Writing and editing skills are superior.
Strong efficiency and experience in graphic design and visual communications.
Knowing the best practices and publishing operations.
Professional experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent showed analytical skills, communications and personal.
Skills to build relationships and manage stakeholders.
Self -guidance, with excellent organizational skills and multi -task capacity.
The ability to think and act quickly, effectively and effectively under pressure, practice tact, diplomacy, discretionary power and good judgment.
