We are seeking to get Communications and participation specialist To work with one of our multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of the strategy of communication and participation in the team. You will play a pivotal role in leading the daily cooperative and attractive communication in addition to facilitating events and programs that support the transfer of Atlantic Canada to the future of the low carbon. If you are a strong parallel to build relationships and create effective messages for complex issues to involve various fans, we want to hear from you.

About the opportunity
In this 18 -month -old position, you will submit a report to a director in implementing the communications strategy for their programs and the events of external participation. This contract may extend beyond 18 months based on organizational needs.
You will work closely with the main team members, including project employees, communications and participation, and your manager, and be responsible for:
- Create and implement communications strategies and participate to enhance the Net Zero Atlantic reputation as an unbiased and reliable partner in promoting the move to a neutral future of carbon.
- Ensuring the consistency and alignment of the external communications of the program’s initiatives with the vocal net brand, sound and strategic priorities.
- Developing the content of the program through the basic communication channels of Net Zero Atlantic (presentations, reports, newsletters, marketing materials, social media and site).
- Cooperation with project managers to design and implement communications plans and participation designed for specific initiatives.
- Translation of the technical and complex project outputs into accessible and attractive formats.
- Developing strong relationships with current partners and building new relationships through various societies.
- Facilitating media inquiries, writing media bulletins, and contributing to developing positive media relations through Atlantic Canada.
- Coordination of events such as community meetings and workshops.
Your qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or diploma from the post -secondary institution recognized in public relations, communications, marketing or press studies. Or a related mix of education or experience.
- Five years of experience in creating and implementing communications and participation strategies.
- Very thinker, innovative and strategic with strong skills between people and presentation.
- A skilled writer and editor.
- Efficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media and web management.
- The experience of working with multi -functional, cooperative, and comprehensive teams.
- Organizational skills and management of strong projects.
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet the final dates in a fast -paced environment.
- You have flexibility to work periodically outside the standard working hours according to the requirements of the event.
- Hold a valid driver’s license in Atlantic Canada with the ability to rent vehicles.
