This role will combine the duties of compliance and the practice of traditional labor law, and will play legal actions on a variety of matters that may include:

• The Federation represents a variety of fields including NLRB and the Board of Government of government employment relations, governmental and federal litigation, arbitration, drafting legislation, advice to union employees, active participation in creative organization, fast -line on a set of important social justice campaigns;
• Providing advice to the federation regarding the campaign to finance campaigns and registration requirements in election and advocacy campaigns, and in pressure, including management of daily activities in the political work committees in the Federation;
• Work as a major consultant on internal governance issues, including supervision of employee elections and agreements;
• Advice Union on LMRDA and credit obligations; and
• Providing advice to the Union regarding a wide range of compliance issues, including non -profit, employment, taxes, contracts, and intellectual property.

Qualifications and experience:

• A clear commitment to labor federations and the basic task of the organization.
• The doctor and membership in the California Pact.
• More than 5 years of legal experience, including at least one year of compliance.
• Exceptional between people, communications, writing, audit and organizational skills.
• You should be directed towards the details and have a good follow -up.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• The ability to give priority to address multiple procedures simultaneously simultaneously under the changing conditions and critical time restrictions
