North Vancouver entertainment and culture is devoted to building healthy individuals, families and societies. NVRC offers a wide range of social, health and cultural programs and services to the population of all ages and capabilities.
We currently accept pottery studio technician applications to help operate NVRC Pottery studios. The applicants interested in the position of the pottery technician are also encouraged to apply for the position of the pottery coach.
you will:
You will download and unload ovens, provide support for studio participants during scheduled transformations or scheduled transformations, assist in maintenance of oven and studio equipment, mixing/mixing, restoring clay and recycling, organizing studio tools, equipment and pottery pots. This position also supports pottery programming as directed by the Pottery Studio and helps clean the studio with other duties as shown.
This position includes artwork in the pottery studio and may include some pottery programs.
You have:

- Excellent personal communication skills
- The ability to enhance a positive, welcome, supportive culture within the studio, as necessary for this role
- The ability to work well with others (studio participants and employees)
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to work independently, but also follow the guidance of the pottery studios
- The ability to survive and keep the shooting schedule on the oven
- The ability to be flexible in a dynamic environment
- The minimum of 2 years of experience in the pottery studio
- Proper technical knowledge of pottery studio, including equipment and technologies
- Pottery teaching experience is assets.
- A person must have a pottery knowledge, prefer a studio technician experience
Required qualifications and experience:
Knowing pottery and experience with the duties of the studio technician.
At least two years of teaching pottery is one of the origins.
Five Height: Principles of a health certificate for the development of the child, first aid for children’s care in emergencies or equivalent, and pottery experience.
All employees should be ready to work on any entertainment northern Vancouver and culture site. All candidates are required to provide a police registry check as a condition for the situation before any date. Clearance requires that there are no criminal charges or convictions related to this situation.
The work schedule may vary based on operational requirements.
The hour price: The salaries of this unofficial position range from $ 23.45 -$ 25.58 per hour, based on education and experience, in addition to the salaries of leave by 4 %.
