Amnesty International Infrastructure Engineer at Bristol University
Role
The Bristol Center for the Super Computing is run by the ISAMBARD-EI, and ISAMBARD3 Tier-2 SuperCant. Isambard-Ei is the most powerful supercar in the United Kingdom and among the strongest in Europe.
The AI ​​SuperCEMENTING team has the full process to develop and operate the computer’s infrastructure and programs at the center, which includes:
- Sources of devices and system design.
- Spreading the huge infrastructure of programs using tools such as kubernetees & terraform.
- Building platforms and operation to enable researchers to conduct pioneering research using systems.
- Improving and refining software to ensure effective use of the environment and economic.

We are looking for infrastructure engineers. In this role, it will act as part of the Commining AI team to create and operate the infrastructure and calculate the platforms used by researchers in their work. You do not need to be an expert in the field of research ML/DL or in the field of arithmetic research to provide a global infrastructure, but you need to get a deep technical understanding of new fields quickly. You should enjoy the presence of self -guidance and determine the most important problems that must be solved with the team’s maturity with uniform tools and processes about stability and providing strong services and expansion.
This role supports hybrid work arrangements to provide flexibility. Although the operational needs of the center require successful candidates to start as soon as possible, we are able to absorb individual notice periods to attract higher talents.
What will you do?
As a member of the highly intelligent computing team, will;
- Use tools like Bash, Terraform, Kubernetes and Python.
- Design and operation of the highly available and very available computing services that are managed as a specific infrastructure by programs and integrated as complete mathematical experiences using tools such as JuPYTUB and Kubernetes.
- Experience in the design and operation of the Wide Graphics Processing Unit and the combination of the CPU/graphics processing unit
Work burdens through these services. - Design and correction platforms will work closely with researchers as you design solutions that will enable the development and operation of new algorithms and programs to solve the leading search problems.

- A degree (or practical experience of equivalent) in computer science, calculation, mL/AI, or in natural sciences with a high degree of efficiency in computer science or arithmetic research.
- Good organizational skills to manage your work burden, but also with less skills Experienced members of the team.
